EAGLES can’t fall the NFL Draft…

After the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Eagles have emerged as frontrunners, showcasing their top, worst, and standout selections from the event.

Ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Philadelphioua Eagles faced uncertainty following a lackluster season. Despite sporadic excellence on offense, the team struggled defensively, particularly in the latter part of the season.

Post-draft evaluations have bestowed high praise upon general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles, underscoring a brighter future for the team.

The Eagles bolstered their offense in free agency by acquiring standout talents such as running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Davante Parker. Defensively, additions like linebacker Devin White and pass rusher Bryce Huff, tailored to new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s system, promise significant improvement.

With a reputation for adept drafting, the Eagles once again showcased their prowess in 2024. Recognizing cornerback as a primary concern, they prioritized addressing this position. Despite the presence of Darius Slay, whose performance has declined with age, and promising prospect Kalee Ringo, the team required further depth.

Strategically addressing pressing needs early in the draft and through free agency, the Eagles appear poised to regain dominance in the NFC East.

Enhancements to the youthful and talented defensive line, alongside an overhauled linebacking corps and reinforced secondary, signify marked defensive improvement. Provided rookies in the defensive backfield swiftly contribute, the Eagles stand as contenders in the NFC.

Quinyon Mitchell, selected 22nd overall, is touted as a top-tier talent and potential All-Pro cornerback. Despite his prowess, Mitchell fell in the draft due to teams prioritizing quarterbacks and other positions. Notably swift with a 4.33 40-yard dash time, Mitchell excels in press coverage and exhibits exceptional ball-hawking abilities.

Under the guidance of defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, known for his rookie-friendly defensive schemes, Mitchell is poised for success. With time to acclimate to the defense, his instincts and athleticism are expected to fuel a stellar professional career.
