From the 1993 “Game of the Century,” where the Irish won 31-24 but FSU later claimed the national title, to the 2021 game where FSU made a dramatic comeback to force overtime, led by McKenzie Milton, only for Notre Dame to win and Brian Kelly to jokingly suggest executing his team.
In 2023, the ACC saw a return to normalcy, with the FSU-Clemson matchup essentially deciding the conference leader. Both teams are expected to compete for a spot in the ACC championship game again this year, though the winner might prefer to leave the ACC altogether.
