Tyler Herro, the shooting guard for the Miami Heat, is close to making his return to the team.

As per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Tyler Herro is accompanying the Miami Heat for their upcoming three-game road trip, commencing with a match against the Houston Rockets on Friday. The Rockets, who suffered a setback against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, are now facing diminished playoff prospects.

There’s a sense of optimism surrounding Herro’s potential return to action on Friday against the Rockets, following his absence since February 23 due to a foot injury. Sources indicate that Herro traveled with the team for their games in Houston, Indiana, and Atlanta.

Having been sidelined with right foot medial tendinitis, Herro’s potential return against the Rockets could provide a significant lift to the Miami Heat, who are narrowly trailing the top six in the Eastern Conference standings.

Throughout the season, Herro has maintained impressive averages of 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, with a three-point shooting percentage of 39.9. While there may be some initial rustiness upon his return, Herro is expected to regain his rhythm with time.
